NOTICE OF CHANGE IN TAX PAYMENT PROCESSES

Akwa Ibom State Internal Revenue Service wishes to inform all taxpayers, employers, corporate organisation, MDAs, contractors, and the general public of a change in the process for payment of all State taxes, levies and revenue payable to the Akwa Ibom State Government.

This development is part of the ongoing reforms by the State Government to improve transparency, accountability, and efficiency in revenue collection across the State.

Consequently, please be informed that all taxes and levies must be paid through the AkwaRemit – the State’s approved electronic payment platform @ akwaremit.akwaibomstate.gov.ng
